Dror Globerman: Why Algorithms Are Making Us Hate Each Other | Armis Raises $435M | Tesla works towards full-self driving in Israel

This Week in IsraelTech - You're Not Thinking, You're Being Programmed ft. Dror Globerman

In this episode of IsraelTech, Yoel Israel sits down with Dror Globerman - journalist, media personality, and founder of Jumpstart AI School — for one of the deepest and most provocative conversations yet.

They dive into:
- How algorithms reward hate and tribalism
- Why human nature, not technology, is the real problem
- The death of legacy media and rise of individual trust
- The danger of unregulated AI capitalism
- Why Israel is falling behind in AI education
- And how Dror believes technology can still make us more human

From politics to philosophy, from social media addiction to autonomous cars, Dror and Yoel don't leave any stone unturned.

Culture Corner

On Sunday, November 9, the body of the late Lt. Hadar Goldin, who was killed and abducted during the 2014 Gaza war, was finally returned and identified after being held by Hamas for more than eleven years. Prime Minister Netanyahu confirmed that his family will finally be able to lay him to rest after eleven years of anguish. For the past decade, Goldin’s parents, Leah and Simcha, along with his twin brother, Tzur, traveled the globe advocating for his body to be brought home. This only grew after the attacks of October 7, 2023. At the weekly cabinet meeting, Netanyahu called Goldin a hero of Operation Protective Edge. He also reaffirmed Israel’s commitment to recovering the five remaining hostage bodies, noting Israel’s long tradition of bringing soldiers home — even decades later, like after the 1982 Sultan Yacoub battle in Lebanon. Netanyahu said this is a national obligation, and also mentioned continued efforts to retrieve the remains of Israeli spy Eli Cohen, executed in Syria in 1965. Four bodies of slain Israeli hostages are still in Gaza: Meny Godard, Ran Gvili, Dror Or and Sudthisak Rinthalak.
