Israel to Open New Embassy in Estonia
Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar announced plans to open a new embassy in Estonia, – in its capital city, Tallinn, following his visit to the country. Following his meetings with Estonia’s Prime Minister Kristen Michal and their Foreign Minister, Sa’ar highlighted the country’s cultural connection to Israel in digital innovation and shared values, and said the embassy would strengthen diplomatic ties between the two countries. Sa’ar’s trip also included visits to Lithuania and Latvia, which already have Israeli embassies.
