Why the Next Cybersecurity Revolution Starts with Identity ft. Fabrix CEO Raz Rotenberg

What if the future of autonomous cars isn’t powered by cameras or LiDAR, but by radar?

In this episode, Kobi Marenko, CEO and Co-founder of Arbe, joins Yoel Israel to unpack how radar-on-chip technology could reshape the future of autonomous driving and why the giants of silicon may be standing in the way of true innovation.

We explore:
- How radar sees what cameras can’t, and why that matters for safety
- The challenges of building semiconductors in a world dominated by mega-corporations
- Kobi’s journey from TV reporter to deep-tech founder
- Why philosophy and yoga play a role in how he leads and invests
- Israel’s place in the global semiconductor race

It’s tech, science, and a little bit of soul - all from the front lines of Israel’s deep tech ecosystem.

Culture Corner

The U.S.-proposed deal for ending the war in Gaza has been agreed by Israel and Hamas, and confirmed by U.S. President Donald Trump. After less than a week of negotiations in Egypt, developments progressed significantly and led to this moment. The deal was signed in Cairo on Thursday, and the ceasefire officially went into effect at 12:00 PM Israeli time on Friday, October 10th, 2025 with the full approval passed in the Knesset. The agreement was made during intensive talks in Sharm el-Sheikh which is a sea-side city in Egypt’s Sinai. U.S. special envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff and President Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner were both heavily involved in pushing the two parties into an agreement. Qatari and Egyptian mediators also came to the table to make this deal happen.

We are so happy to welcome these 20 of our brothers home after these long two years!
