   Cyberstarts closed its second $380M Opportunity Fund to back portfolio companies like Wiz, Fireblocks, Cyera, and Island as they scale globally. The firm now manages over $1.4B across seven funds.

   

2. Aidoc Earns FDA Breakthrough Status for Multi-Condition AI Triage Solution

   Aidoc received FDA Breakthrough Device Designation for its CARE™-powered platform that can flag multiple acute conditions in one workflow - a first-of-its-kind achievement.

3.  Zooz Power Launches Bitcoin Treasury With $60M Buy-In

   After pivoting from energy to crypto, Zooz Power purchased 525 Bitcoins for $60M, aiming to replicate MicroStrategy’s treasury model in Israel.

4. Descope Extends Seed Round to $88M as Demand for Identity Security Surges

   Descope raised a $35M Seed extension (total $88M) from Lightspeed, Notable Capital, Dell Technologies Capital, and others. Already serving thousands of organizations, it also unveiled a heavyweight advisory board from Databricks, MongoDB, and GoFundMe.

5. Gelt Raises $21M to Reinvent Tax Services With AI-Powered Platform

   Israeli startup Gelt secured $21.2M across Seed and Series A rounds to transform U.S. tax advisory with an AI-driven platform combining continuous optimization and expert guidance. Funding came from TLV Partners, Zvi Limon, and Vintage Investment Partners.

6. Commcrete Secures $29M to Miniaturize Satellite Comms for Defense & Disaster Response

   Commcrete raised $29M in seed and Series A rounds led by Amnon Shashua, Greenfield Partners, and Redseed Ventures to deliver handheld, omni-directional SATCOM devices that transform radios and vehicles into satellite-enabled systems.

Culture Corner

On Tuesday, the National Council for Planning and Building approved an Energy Ministry plan for special electricity areas at gas stations that can charge up to five electric vehicles simultaneously. With this approval, gas stations will also be allowed to build small waiting areas for those charging their vehicles. The Energy Ministry aims to move toward fully electric transportation by 2050. Out of nearly 3.7 million private vehicles on Israel’s roads, only 170,000 are currently electric—about 21%.
